The era of the old-fashioned radio drama will return on Delmarva Public Radio’s “Delmarva Today: Writer’s Edition” on Friday, June 27th at 9 am featuring “Fair Warning,” a clever, film-noir-style drama set in contemporary Rehoboth Beach.
The drama is an adaptation of a story of the same name written by Dennis Lawson and included in The Beach House, a collection of short stories set in and around the area. The play will be preceded by a discussion of “beach reads” with Susan McAnelly, general manager of Browseabout Books, and Nancy Sakaduski, editor and publisher of The Beach House.
The discussion will also feature a reading of “Why You Trashed Vera Wang” by the author, Nancy Powichroski Sherman. A short story also found in The Beach House.
