Racing to Raise Funds for the Special Olympics Maryland

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Police in Annapolis are raising money for Special Olympics Maryland with a one-mile race through the city.

Police say the fifth annual race will take place Saturday. Registration is $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under.

Police are encouraging racers to wear costumes, and there will be prizes given for the best individual and group costumes as well as the fastest times.
