Princess Anne Town Commissioner Enters Alford Plea in Assault Case

creative commons

Princes Anne Town Commissioner Lionel Frederick entered an Alford plea of no contest this morning to two counts of second degree assault.

WMDT reports that he waived his right to a jury trial and has been sentenced to 100 hours of community service to be carried out within the next 12 months.

In addition, there can be no contact with the defendant.

The case involved a dispute in September where Frederick allegedly maced a man before chasing him in his car.

Frederick will continue to serve on the Princess Anne Town Commission.
