In the at-large District 2 incumbent Debbie Campbell is seeking a third term and faces redevelopment activist Jake Day and nonprofit executive Jack Heath.

District 1
In majority-minority District 1 incumbent Shanie Shields will be fending off challenges from community activist April Jackson and businesswoman Cynthia Polk.
Issues debated between the candidates range from finding new businesses and attracting living wage jobs to dealing with the city’s problem of vacant homes.
