Pride Festival Celebrates Marriage Equality in Delaware

peaceproject.com

Around a thousand people attended Delaware’s Pride Festival in Dover for the first time on Saturday.

It was held there in recognition of the decision by lawmakers to legalize same-sex marriage.

This was the 17th year the Delaware Pride festival has been held in the First State although in the past it had taken place in Rehoboth Beach or New Castle.

The event included drag shows, vendor booths and other entertainment.
