President Signs Disaster Relief Bill for Delaware

twitter

Federal disaster relief is coming to Delaware to rebuild the infrastructure damaged during winter storm in January.

President Obama signed the Delaware Disaster Declaration bill sending aid to those areas of the state hit by the snowstorm and flooding in late January.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that many of the dunes disappeared under the heavy flooding along the coastal areas.

There will be money for the north end of the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk and the storm water pipes that were damaged because of the heavy waves.
