Polar Bear Plunge This Sunday in Rehoboth

polar bear, all-free-download

This Sunday warm bodies will jump into the cold waters off Rehoboth Beach to mark the 22 annual Special Olympics Delaware Polar Bear Plunge.

It’s expected to be a cold weekend with temperatures dropping after a short warm spell.

WDEL’s Sean Greene will be taking his 10th dive into the waters.

And he told his station in his second year there was actually ice on the jetties.

In addition, there will also be a pooch plunge on Saturday.

Pet dogs will be able to plunge into a wading pool for a $25 donation to the Special Olympics Delaware.
