parsonsburg fire department website

Steve White, who served as the chief of the Parsonsburg Fire Company for 20 years, has died at the age of 60.

Interim Fire Chief Eric Tyler said that White had fallen ill in recent months.

A volunteer firefighter told the Salisbury Daily Times that White was seen as an all-around good person and was a key factor in getting the new fire station built.

A special gathering for White is set for tomorrow at the new firehouse to note his passing and accomplishments.
