NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) — The panel that sets Delaware's official revenue projections is meeting to update its financial forecast. Monday's meeting of the Delaware Economic and Financial Advisory Council is the first since lawmakers passed a budget for the fiscal year that started July 1.

The meeting also will be the panel's first since state officials expanded sports betting from the Delaware's three casinos to more than 30 other locations last month. The expansion of sports betting was authorized under a new law that also allows online slot machine and table game wagers.

Markell administration officials will use the updated financial forecast numbers as they prepare for agency budget hearing requests starting in November.
