NPR's Jamie McIntyre heads to SU

NPR newscaster Jamie McIntyre is coming to Salisbury University!

"From NPR News in Washington..." it's Jamie McIntyre who anchors newscasts at the bottom of each hour during All Things Considered which airs Monday through Friday on Delmarva Public Radio from 4-6pm.
McIntyre's career spans more than three decades. Before joining NPR, McIntyre spent 16 years as a military correspondent for CNN. Prior to joining NPR in 2011, McIntyre started the blog, "Jamie McIntyre's Line of Departure", frequently contributing to the site as an analyst on military and media issues.
Outside of news, McIntyre enjoys stand-up comedy and has been named  Washington DC's funniest reporter and the third funniest reporter on the planet.
In addition to his duties at NPR, McIntyre teaches multimedia journalism as an adjunct professor at the Philip Merrill College at the University of Maryland.
Join Salisbury University and Delmarva Public Radio as we welcome Jamie McIntyre to SU on Wednesday, October 9th. The lecture will be held at the  Guerrieri Center in the Wicomico Room at 7pm.
