Delaware is bracing for some strong win, rain and snow as a messy nor’easter heads this way.
Delaware police say they expect that there will be hazardous road conditions and are advising motorists to drive carefully.
The Wilmington News Journal reports that forecasts for the northern part of the state call for 2 to 5 inches of snow by Saturday with an inch in the middle of Delaware.
Sussex County is only expected to see some rain.
Kent and Sussex counties are also under a coastal flood watch.
Winds could reach as high as 35 mph.
Road work will be suspended and equipment moved at the Delaware Route 1 interchange.
Along the coast the National Weather Service is warning of dangerous sea condition with recreational boaters urged to stay in port.
