No Criminal Record for Alleged Gunman in Mall Shooting

Law Enforcement

Police say that the gunman who shot and killed two skate store employees at the Mall in Columbia Maryland had no criminal record.

Officials also say that there is no known connection between 19 year old Darion Marcus Aguilar and the two victims of the shooting.

They were identified as 21 year old Briana Benlolo of College Park and 25 year old Tyler Johnson of Mount Airy.

A shotgun was found near his body along with ammunition.

Meanwhile, the Mall reopened for business yesterday with Howard County Executive Ken Ullman making an appearance to encourage shoppers to resume business as usual.

Salisbury Shooting

Meanwhile, last night in Salisbury police said a shooting was reported at around 9:05 p.m. in the 900 block of East Church Street.

Police said several roads around Church St. were closed for a time and one victim was taken to PRMC with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities are still searching for the suspect.
