ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is set to attend another fundraiser for Republican gubernatorial candidate Larry Hogan in Maryland next week.

Adam Dubitsky, Hogan's campaign spokesman, confirmed Thursday that Christie is scheduled to attend a fundraiser in Potomac at a private home on Tuesday.

Dubitsky says a second event is planned with Christie in public after the fundraiser.

Christie is the chairman of the Republican Governors Association. He attended a fundraiser for Hogan last month in Bethesda that raised more than $400,000.

Former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge also is scheduled to hold a fundraiser next week for Hogan.

Hogan is running against Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown, a Democrat. President Barack Obama is scheduled to hold a rally for Brown on Sunday in Prince George's County.
