New Wicomico County Executive Denies House Cleaning Rumors

bob culver campaign website

Incoming Wicomico County Executive Bob Culver says there’s no truth to the rumor that he will be cleaning house when he takes office.

He added that he hopes to keep everyone right now.

Culver becomes the second County Executive after defeating Democrat Rick Pollitt.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that county attorney Edgar Baker says Culver has six months to make appointments to the county’s ten departments.

Culver said that his transition team will be speaking with various department heads to talk about the issues that they feel they currently face.

This, he says, would help him come up with a plan to begin carrying out his vision of less government intervention and less taxes on small business.

However, the paper says that Culver would not go so far as to say that anyone was safe.
