ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Gov. Martin O'Malley's office has announced a new Maryland-Israeli advisory board.

The governor's office announced the new board on Sunday as O'Malley arrived in Israel on an economic development mission. O'Malley's office says the board will work to develop business opportunities that will benefit both Maryland and Israel. Board members are business, scientific and civic leaders from Maryland and Israel.

The trip is O'Malley's third to Israel. He went once as mayor of Baltimore and in 2008 as governor. O'Malley also plans to travel to neighboring Jordan.

The trip marks the governor's first to Jordan, where he will speak to business and government leaders at a dinner reception.
