Ocean City Boardwalk arcades say the new proposed regulations from the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Commission could put them out of business.
The original regulations were stopped with the help of the new Governor Larry Hogan.
But Delegate Beth Carozza (R-Worcester) told the Salisbury Daily Times that many arcade owners on the boardwalk said they had problems with the Skills-Based Amusement section.
That proposes minimum value and skill regulations which operators say could be damaging.
Instead, Maryland Chamber of Commerce wants a separate section for family entertainment that would cover the Boardwalk and other such operations around the state.
