It will be the changing of the guard as a much different Eastern Shore Delegation heads to Annapolis this January.

Meanwhile, WMDT reports that Republican Mary Beth Carozza who won District 38C says she is interested in pushing tourism and the agriculture industry when she gets to the state’s capital.

Republican Chris Adams says he would like to address environmental regulations that have keep farmers from using inexpensive fertilizer.

On the other side of the aisle Democratic incumbent state Senator Jim Mathias told WMDT that no matter what the party affiliation the delegation needs to work together with the governor.

Governor-Elect Republican Larry Hogan who won an upset victory over Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown who was attempting to succeed outgoing Democratic governor Martin O’Malley.
