Nearly 15 Dogs Rescued in Alleged Millsboro Abuse Case

There were more than a dozen dogs rescued from a Millsboro property last week with one man facing animal cruelty charges.

WBOC reports that the state’s Division of Public Health got a tip about some abandoned dogs.   

They found 14 severely emaciated canines some of whom need medical attention.

Atwood Timmons of Millsboro…is facing 18 counts of animal cruelty and other charges.

The Brandywine SPCA says told the television station that many of injuries were suffered when the dogs tried to escape.
