Dover International Speedway will keep its two traditional Sprint Cup Series race dates in 2013.
Track officials said that NASCAR's top racing series will return to the track on May 31-June 2 and Sept. 27-29 next season.
The Wilmington News Journal reports that there will be a change next year.
Sprint Cup qualifying will return to Friday afternoon before that afternoon’s Camping World Truck Series race in the spring and K&N Pro Series East race in the fall.
However, NASCAR will return once more to Dover in late September for the “AAA 400” Sprint Cup race, “OneMain Financial 200” Nationwide race and the Sept. 28 K&N Pro Series East race.
