NASA Delays Launch at Wallops Flight Facility

nasa.gov

Due to the rainy weather the NASA Wallops flight facility has postponed the launch of three suborbital rockets.

The Terrier-Orion rockets were set to take off for the Defense Department this morning.

But NASA has put off the launch until Wednesday morning between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.

NASA says the rockets will take off within a 20-second period.

Residents as far as Southern New Jersey may be able to see the rockets lift off.

There will be no viewing from the visitor’s center nor will NASA provide real-time launch updates at the request of the defense department.
