There will be a medical marijuana dispensary in Salisbury.
The Peninsula Alternative Health facility will be located on Snow Hill Road.
Mary Pat Hoffman, clinical director for the company, told WBOC that there are so many patients suffering from diseases and conditions that other therapies do not touch.
She hopes that the drug will lose its stigma when used for medical purposes.
The dispensary is expected to be similar to a retail pharmacy and could open by September.
