Matusiewicz Trial Heads Towards Closing Arguments

Delaware Law Enforcement

Closing arguments are expected today in Matusiewicz trial.

David Matusiewicz, his mother Lenore and his sister Amy Gonzalez could face life in prison from the cyberstalking charges that included an intent to kill David’s wife Christine Belford.

The father Thomas Matusiewicz ultimately shot and killed Belford and a friend of hers at a Delaware Courthouse during a custody battle over their children.

He then exchanged gun fire with security before killing himself.

The defendants say they had no idea that Thomas was going to kill Belford.
