ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Maryland Natural Resources Police say a swimming fatality near Annapolis was the state's third accidental water death in a week.
Spokeswoman Candy Thomson says 18-year-old Christopher Cervasio of Annapolis died Saturday while swimming in the Little Magothy River. She says he was missing for about three hours before his body was found.
Twenty-seven-year-old Robert Claggett Jr. of Indian Head died during a swimming trip Tuesday in the Port Tobacco River near Chapel Point State Park in Charles County.
Forty-nine-year-old Christopher Dettor died July 31 when the motorboat he was on hit a rock jetty at the mouth of Whitehall Creek near Annapolis.
