Governor Larry Hogan stopped by Pocomoke City’s Hardwire Armor Systems yesterday along with State Senator Jim Mathias.
And he got a tour of the facility which makes armor technology.
George Tunis founded the company in the year 2000 but moved into the production of military and private armor after the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on 911.
Hogan got a video presentation of how his products are used by the U.S. military in its operations abroad.
After the visit Hogan praised the company for providing technology that will save the lives of military service personnel and police officers.
