Maryland Governor to Tout Aerospace Industry

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Gov. Martin O'Malley will be emphasizing Maryland's aerospace industry as a big part of the state's innovation economy.

The governor is scheduled to visit ATK Space Systems Division on Monday.

The O'Malley administration notes that Maryland is home to 15 of the nation's top 20 aerospace companies and 70 of the country's top 100 defense contractors.

They support more than 140,000 direct jobs in Maryland.
