Man Found Shot Over a Dozen Times in Crisfield

Crisfield police are looking at what happened to a Salisbury man who was shot at least 14 times.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that police say Mark Laquan Smith was found with gunshot wounds at the Somers Cove Apartments after receiving a 911 call.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The paper reports that police say they found narcotics, money and revolver nearby.

Authorities say that Smith was staying with a girlfriend at the apartments.
