Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown Brings In Obama Campaign Heavy-Weight

LARGO, Md. (AP) - Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown is holding a campaign event with President Barack Obama's 2012 campaign manager.

Brown has scheduled the event with Jim Messina in Largo on Monday.

Brown is expected to discuss his campaign to be Maryland's next governor.

Brown has been lieutenant governor since 2007.

Maryland's primary is nearly a year away in June.
