People gathered yesterday to remember Milford Central Academy principal Tricia Martin and her daughter Taryn.
They held – what was billed as – the Dr. Tricia martin Baseball Tournament bringing players from across the state of Delaware to raise funds for a scholarship in her honor.
During the game Dante George of Milford High School told WBOC that he recalled her as knowing all the students names and was the kindest principal he knew.
It’s been three months since they lost their lives in an automobile accident.
All of the funds raised will go towards the Dr. Tricia Martin Scholarship.
The winner of the scholarship must be a Milford High School senior looking to study education in college.
