Last Revenue Forecast for Delaware Before Fiscal Year's End

Don Rush

NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - The state panel that issues Delaware's official revenue projections is making its final update before the fiscal year that begins July 1.

Monday's estimates will help state lawmakers put the final touches on operating and capital budgets for fiscal 2017 before they adjourn at the end of the month.

Last month, the Delaware Economic and Financial Advisory Council lowered its revenue projections for the current and upcoming fiscal years by about $18 million each compared to April's estimates.

That followed previous downward revisions in March and April totaling $9.5 million for fiscal 2017.
