Ken Ulman Vows to Creative Competitive Business Climate

msa.maryland.gov

Ken Ulman, Anthony Brown’s running mate in the Democratic primary race for governor, took a walk through downtown Salisbury.

He was making his case for his team saying that if elected they would focus on creating a competitive business climate and working with local partners.

As Howard County executive he told residents that he realized that the area was still recovering from the 2008 recession and that a Brown administration did not see a real reason to raise taxes.

Brown as Lt. Gov. under Governor Martin O’Malley has raised a series of taxes to close a structural deficit.

Meanwhile, Ulman said there was still a need for publicly funded initiatives to boost the infrastructure needed to help small businesses.
