MIDDLETOWN, Del. (AP) - Voters are headed to the polls in Middletown after wintry weather delayed the town council election earlier this month.
Polls are open Monday between noon and 8 p.m. at the town hall council chambers.
The March 3 election was postponed for three weeks after Gov. Jack Markell declared a state of emergency during a snowstorm.
Four candidates are running for three spots on council. Vice-mayor James Reynolds and council members Robin Burgess and Robert McGhee are seeking re-election. Richard Catterton is also seeking a seat.
The three winners will serve two-year terms.
