TOWSON, Md. (AP) - A high school sophomore has been indicted on 29 counts related to the shooting of a classmate at a suburban Baltimore school.

Baltimore County prosecutors announced Tuesday that a grand jury has indicted 15-year-old Robert Wayne Gladden Jr. on nine counts of attempted murder, nine counts of first-degree assault and nine counts of reckless endangerment, along with two gun charges.

Police say Gladden fired two rounds from an antique shotgun that he brought to Perry Hall High School last Monday on the first day of classes. One classmate, 17-year-old Daniel Borowy, was critically wounded.

The indictment names eight other potential victims, including guidance counselor Jesse Wasmer. Police and school officials called Wasmer a hero for wrestling the gun away from Gladden.
