There was good news from the Sussex County Board of Adjustments for Hudson Fields.
They have been given a special events exemption for future restrictions after presenting their case to the board for a third time.
Owner Christian Hudson told WBOC that he and his brother would carry on a family tradition stretching back to his grandfather.
He said that he was thankful that the action would allow such events as weddings and concerts being held without future restrictions.
The television station reports that some of the board members said they recognized the special atmosphere that the fields provide for Sussex County.
Hudson admits that there have been some complaints about noise from the concerts but there was no opposition present at the board meeting.
