Homebrew Featured For Beer Lovers At Delaware State Fair

HARRINGTON, Del. (AP) — A homebrew competition is returning to the Delaware State Fair.

Eighty-eight people have submitted 329 beer entries for the competition, which will take place July 21 in the Delaware Electric Cooperative tent at the fair in Harrington. Winners in 23 styles will be selected.

The News Journal of Wilmington reports that the top beer in each style will compete for Best in Show. The champion will get a $250 cash prize.

Fairgoers will be able to taste beers from local breweries and get advice on how to make beer at home.
