The town of Berlin is kicking off the holiday season with its Holiday Arts Night this Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.
It will feature artists around the town and at local businesses.
In addition, The Salisbury Daily Times reports there will be live jazz music at the Visitors Center as well as a Santa and Mrs. Claus to greet the children.
Later in December there will be three Saturday afternoons with Christmas characters and free carriage rides, the paper reports, with a story time from Mrs. Claus.
Most of the festivities will take place on Main Street along with some side streets.
