families usa website

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) – Hillary Rodham Clinton and Gov. Martin O’Malley, two potential 2016 presidential candidates, complimented each other yesterday at a rally in Maryland, even though they weren’t sharing the stage at the same time.

Clinton and O’Malley attended a get-out-the-vote rally on Thursday for Democratic Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown in College Park, who is running to take the term-limited governor’s place.

O’Malley says Clinton served the country “so very well” as first lady, U.S. senator and secretary of state.

Clinton complimented O’Malley and Brown. She cited laws on gun-control and same-sex marriage enacted during O’Malley’s tenure as governor.

Clinton shared the stage at the University Maryland, College Park, with brown and his running mate, Ken Ulman. O’Malley sat in the bleachers watching, and applauding during Clinton’s speech.
