Many electric customers were without power last night as blustery winds hit Delaware and parts of Maryland.
At 4:45 a.m. this morning Delmarva Power still reported around 17-hundred people without power.
1,200 of those were in Somerset County.
In New Castle County there were around 300 while in Cecil County around 160 were without power.
The Delaware Department of Transportation reports that trees were downed and closed a number of roads.
Meanwhile, only passenger cars were allowed on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge with a wind warning in effect on US 40 Bridge across the Susquehanna River.
The National Weather Service reports winds gusted up to 60 mile per hour.
Its wind advisory is scheduled to end at 11 am this morning.
