There’s been an arrest of an 18-year-old high school student in Delaware for pulling a gun on a fellow student.

WBOC reports that Tymere Moore of Middletown has been charged with possessing a firearm in a school zone, theft of a firearm and aggravated menacing among other charges.

Police say the incident occurred on Friday morning when Moore threw a bottle at a female student at Middletown High School.

The television station reports that authorities say a male student confronted Moore and their altercation moved to a restroom.

It was there, police say, that Moore got a gun out of his book bag and pointed it at the student.

No shots were fired.

When school officials attempted to escort him off the campus the authorities say a fight broke out with Moore hitting one of the school administrators.

Eventually, he was taken into custody.
