Headquarters Live in Downtown Salisbury Closes in July

Don Rush

Headquarters Live in downtown Salisbury has been the site of bands and concerts over the last few years.

But, no more.

It will be closing its doors as of July and the Salisbury Daily Times will be moving into the building.

Brad Gillis, co-owner of Headquarters Live, told the paper that it was a grand experiment that just didn’t work out.

Meanwhile, Mayor Jake Day told the paper that people should not worry because there will be a new venue coming this year.

He said it will be a 750-seat amphitheater which will have professional light and sound.

As for the Daily Times they say they will be moving into the old Headquarters Live building at the end of October.
