Hallelujah Handel explores the life and work of George Frideric Handel. The four-part series is hosted by Cincinnati Opera's Evans Mirageas and highlights the evolution of Handel's musical development: his apprentice years in Rome; his long artistic life in London and association with legendary singers; the artistic and personal friendships he cultivated with members of the royal family; and the creation of the English Oratorio and its most celebrated example, Messiah.

Evans Mirageas, The Harry T. Wilks Artisitic Director of  Cincinnati Opera and Former producer for WFMT, brings his many persona connections to these insightful and engaging programs. Artists featured include Renee Fleming, Cecilia Bartoli, David Daniels, and Andreas Scholl, as well as conductors Nicholas McGegan, Harry Bicket and Sir Roger Norrington.

Chris Ranck is Delmarva Public Media's Executive Producer, Program Director and Automation Engineer.
