Governor Makes Appearance at Delaware State Fair

The Delaware State Fair it about to wrap up.

But before it does there was a visit by Governor Jack Markell who toured the grounds and pressing the flesh as people he hears from people of his state.

It was part of his annual Governor’s Day tour of the fair.

He visited 4-H exhibits, awarded a few ribbons to champion quilters, bakers and vegetable growers and even participated in an egg tossing competition with Miss Delaware. 

The two term Democrat says there is no substitute for retail politics.
