Gordon's Daughter Behind Online Posts Against David Grimaldi

The daughter of New Castle County Executive Tom Gordon admitted that she was behind the online accounts that attacked the reputation of former County Administrative Officer David Grimaldi.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that Jennifer Gordon said she was wanted people to know “how vindictive and evil (Grimaldi) was.”

In his defamation lawsuit Grimaldi had named a Jane Doe as the defendant in the case and had asked the court to reveal who was behind the accounts.

His attorney said that his client was certain she was not the only one behind them and will continue with subpoenas in search of others who might have been responsible.

Grimaldi was fired by her father after an incident in which Grimaldi allegedly tried to use his position to influence a traffic stop.

Grimaldi denies the charge and says he was dismissed for questioning the influence of the risk manager for the county on Gordon.
