Getting Rid of Old Prescription Drugs in Delaware

DOVER, Del. (AP) - Delaware residents can turn in expired, unwanted or unused prescription drugs at locations throughout Delaware this weekend.

The Drug Enforcement Agency is behind a nationwide drug take back event scheduled for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Locations in Delaware that are accepting the drugs include police and fire departments. The DEA has a list of collection sites on its website.

In Delaware, the Division of Public Health and other organizations throughout the state are helping to organize the event.
