BALTIMORE (AP) - AAA Mid-Atlantic says gasoline prices this week have dropped to new lows for 2014.
AAA says the national average price for a gallon of unleaded dropped to $3.24 Friday. That's down 8 cents from a week ago.
In Maryland, the average price for a gallon of unleaded was $3.23. That's the lowest average price since November 2013. Prices were lower in Salisbury and Baltimore and slightly higher in the Washington suburbs and western Maryland.
In Delaware, the average price Friday was about $3.10 per gallon. That's down nearly 15 cents from last week.
AAA says motorists will likely see some of the lowest gas prices since 2010 in the weeks ahead due to relatively low crude oil prices and healthy supplies. AAA says prices could drop below $3 per gallon.
