Gas Prices Steady as Summer Begins

Don Rush

Gas prices are remaining steady as we enter the summer months.

AAA Mid-Atlantic reports the cost of a gallon of unleaded regular rose slightly for Delaware motorists last week.

Per gallon cost is now averaging $3.59.

Spokeswoman Jana Tidwell says lower crude oil costs and increased production mean prices should remain stable in the weeks ahead.

She says this is especially good news with the 4th of July weekend just ahead.
