Gas Prices Shoot Up in Delaware

WASHINGTON (AP) - Motorists in Delaware are paying 13 cents more at the pump when compared with a week ago.
 

AAA Mid-Atlantic said Sunday in a weekly report that the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Delaware was $2.60. That's compared to $2.47 a week ago.
 
Motorists in the region are paying $1.06 less per gallon than a year ago. At this time last year Delaware drivers were paying $3.66 per gallon.
 
The price of gas in the state is 2 cents below the national average of $2.62 per gallon.
