Gas Prices Hold Steady in Delaware

Don Rush

WASHINGTON (AP) - Motorists in Delaware are paying the same price at the pump when compared with a week ago, but the price is higher than this time last year.

AAA Mid-Atlantic said Sunday in a weekly report that the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Delaware was $3.60, the same as a week ago.

Motorists in the region are, however, paying 11 cents more than a year ago. At this time last year Delaware drivers were paying $3.49 per gallon.

The price of gas in the state is 7 cents less than the national average of $3.67 per gallon.
