Funland website

Funland amusement parks in Rehoboth Beach will go dark tomorrow in memory Jean Fasnacht who died last week at the age of 84.

She spent 51 summers helping with the business and was part of the founding team of family members who bought the Rehoboth Sports Center on the boardwalk on March 15th 1962.

Just ten days before the boardwalk had been destroyed by a storm.

They came to the resort from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where they owned another park “Willow Mill”.

On Tuesday family and friends will hold a celebration of her life at the First United Methodist church in Hershey.
