Josh Alcorn worked as a political and finance director for Beau Biden.
He now joins the Draft Biden movement which is pushing for the Vice President to run for president.
Alcorn had been involved in developing Beau Biden’s bid for governor of Delaware before the Vice President’s son’s death.
The Wilmington News Journal reports that Will Pierce, executive director of Draft Biden 2016, issued a statement saying that he was thrilled with Alcorn’s arrival to the Super PAC.
Joe Biden has said he is still mulling over a possible run that would put him in a contest with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Biden and his family have been mourning the loss of their son Beau earlier this year.
It's been reported that Beau urged his father to run for president shortly before he died.
