Easing the Pain of High Electric Bill This Winter

Don Rush

With the recent winter cold snaps electricity bills are expected to jump for many on Delmarva.

And Delmarva Power is urging customers to use a number of programs that could ease the pain of paying those bills.

Among them are a variety of individually tailored payment arrangements that would bring customer accounts up-to-date over a period of time.

Another allows customers to even out their payments to avoid seasonal peaks in the electric bills.

And, for those whose main source of total income is the government or other low-income entitlement programs a regular extension of due dates can be requested without late charges.

Delmarva Power is urging customers to conserve energy where possible.
